About

Hang Dry Week started in 2019 when some line laundry enthusiasts and nonprofits got together to celebrate this age old use of solar energy.

Since then, we’ve designated the last week of August as Hang Dry Week and encourage folks to follow the world’s lead and hang dry laundry to save energy and fight climate change. Even though a clothesline may seem like a small, insignificant things it can have outsize impact on emissions and energy usage.

Best of all you can help solve climate change with your undies!
